When Anti-Zionism Becomes Antisemitism: How the Far Left Mobilizes Online

Since October 7, anti-Zionist messaging across social media has shifted sharply, often crossing into overt antisemitism. This lecture looks at how far-left activists use digital platforms to spread emotionally charged narratives, shape public conversation, and influence campus and community discourse. It highlights the trends, language, and visual styles that turn political criticism into hostility toward Jews and explains why these shifts gained such momentum in the current environment.

She is senior researcher and head of the Global Far Right Extremism Desk at the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT), Reichman University, Israel and lecturer at Yale University. She advises security agencies, technology companies, other organizations, and communities to achieve better understanding of the language, global connections, and action patterns of right-wing extremists in order to prevent acts of terrorism, incitement to violence, and antisemitism.
