Online hate doesn’t stay online. This lecture explores how antisemitic and extremist narratives move from digital spaces into real-world mobilization and, in some cases, violence. It examines how memes, conspiracy loops, recommendation systems, and coded signals create a pathway from casual exposure to escalating radicalization, and how major events , including October 7, intensify these dynamics on campuses, in communities, and across global networks.
For organizations that are interested, this lecture can also be expanded to include practical tools for identifying early warning signs, strengthening community resilience, and understanding online-to-offline risk patterns.
